I had ditched my stable, yet soul-sucking, career in mobile app development. Why? Because comfort is overrated. But staring into that alley made me wonder if I had made a monumental mistake.

Then it hit me. This felt eerily familiar—like something out of Hobo: Tough Life, a survival game about making hard choices with limited resources. Central Europe setting and all. Oh, and wasn’t there a mobile game called Hobo too?

Turns out, my fascination with resource management and decision-making wasn’t just for fun. It sparked an idea: What if I could turn these game mechanics into a real-life system for self-improvement?

Cue the grand entrance of Notion. More versatile than a Swiss Army knife and far less likely to get confiscated at airport security.

It let me transform game logic into practical tools for personal growth—and guess what? Zero code required.

The Method Behind the Madness

Books are great, but unless you integrate what you learn, they’re just expensive paperweights. The fix? Journaling.

Notion is basically journaling’s cooler, smarter cousin. It allowed me to create and share templates that actually work, while keeping my brain clutter in check.
